FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q How will I know when to get a contractor or architect involved?

A – If you are considering knocking down any walls within your existing home, I’d advise a general contractor or architect please take a look at your project in tandem to my design portion. This way, we can all work together to find the right solution for your project, within your budget.

 

Q – Who should I contact to get these design ideas and solutions executed?

A – Depending on the type of project and budget your project calls for; I will try my darndest to give you an honest answer about what a next step looks like in your specific project scenario.

 

Q – Do you charge by the hour?

A – Yes, I always analyze and accommodate your project on a specific project per project basis. Most often, I recommend going with an overall project fee if you are focusing on a single room or multiple rooms within your home. If you are looking to have very specific recommendations made in a variety of spaces (i.e. window treatments, paint colors, decor etc), I will likely recommend billing you for an hourly rate total at the beginning of every new month.

 

Q How do I pay you for your services?  

A – We accent payment in form of digital invoice via email, through our Square register system. If you’d like to skip the CC & pay with a good ol-fashioned check, we’ll certainly accept that mailed or dropped off at our shop address of: 817 New York Ave, Sheboygan WI 53081. If we are working on a flat rate project basis, I will bill you for a ½ down payment to get you on my work schedule queue.

 

QDo you do both residential and commercial design applications?   

A – YES! I will always require an additional architectural or general contracting service when working on a commercial space, however, please don’t let that deter you from knowing that I am full blown interested in helping you with any and all spaces you are looking to organize, structure, or select finishes/furniture/lighting/decor for.
